Daily Ritual- Body Skin Care

I know it's hard to have flawless skin like that but I surely try!! I'll give you my daily routine which I feel has worked for me.
  • Dove or Lactovit Shower Gel - Great moisturizing shower gel.
  • Body Scrub- I use it twice a  week. I currently use a spanish brand (Deliplus) that I like but I feel like St. Ive's Apricot Scrub works the best for me.
  • Body Oil- Right after I get off the shower, before I even towel dry my skin, I use body oil on my arms, tummy and legs. Then I pat dry my skin with a towel and use cocoa butter lotion. Sometimes I use almond oil or baby oil but any type of oil will work (I've heard of people using olive oil!!!). Just use what works for you.
  • Cocoa Butter- I use cocoa butter or any "stretch mark" based cream on my body just to give it more elasticity, especially on my thighs and tummy. I'm scared of getting stretch marks so I try to use and massage as much as I can. I got stretch marks on my back in tenth grade when I went from 5'0" to 5'7" in one summer so I'll do anything to prevent getting any extra ones.
  • Body Lotion- I use it on the rest of my body (arms, back and legs) to keep my skin healthy and pretty. ;)
  • Vaseline- I know it sounds weird but I use it absolutely everyday on my feet. Nothing keeps my feet softer than putting some vaseline and wearing some socks as soon as I get off the shower. I got this tip from a lady who did my "pedi" before I left to Spain and it's been the best tip I've gotten. Whatever's left over I rub over my elbows. It's also good for your lips. I use a strawberry flavored one to keep my lips hydrated (obviously not the same I use in my feet ;))
  • Mediterranean Sea Salt Bath- I am currently sticking to mediterranean sea salt and epsom salt but I'm researching other alternatives for this detoxifying bath. I try to do this twice a week to detoxify my body. I feel so great and relaxed once I'm done. I recommend this to everyone. Besides relaxing your body, you get to get all those toxins out of your body. It helps with weight loss too, which is great, and if you are one of those who works out a lot it definitely relaxes and reactivates your muscles. Even my basketball player hubby is doing one the night before a game. ;)
Well....That's pretty much what I do every day and it's worked great for me. Find something that works great for you too. Beauty comes from within but if you can give it an extra help it's worth the try. ;)
