Daily Beauty Ritual- Facial Skin Care

After lots of money spent on luxury skin care brands (cle de peau, shiseido, estee lauder, chanel, you name it) I have found that the best creams for my skin type are non luxury brands that I've discovered in my search to find the perfect skin care products. Im currently living in cold weather so my moisturizer is for dry skin, although I have mixed skin.  Here is what I use daily in the same order I use them:
  • Germinal 24-Hour Hydrating Cream- The first thing I try to do after waking up is workout. So I wash my face, moisturize and do some cardio. After that's done I shower and do my daily ritual which I repeat before going to bed. I use this brand because it's the one I got here in Spain and works very well and doesn't clog my pores but any regular moisturizer will work. I moisturize because I like to feel my face moisturized at all times and I feel like sweat dries my skin but some people might feel they're pores get clogged. You are the only one who knows how your skin will react so if you feel like moisturizing will not work for you just skip this step.
  • Cetaphil Bar Soap (LOVE)
  •  Sensilis Ritual Care Tonic (LIKE) It doesn't have any alcohol so it's nice on my skin.
  • ROC Sublime Energy Eye Treatment (UNDECIDED) Haven't seen much of a change. Then again, I don't have wrinkles so I guess it would be hard to notice but I do have some very tiny fine lines that I don't want to see!! haha. (probably have them since the day I was born! hehe!). Ohhh...the only thing I don't like is that it kind of peels (not my skin, the cream) when I put concealer over it. The skin under my eyes is soft though so that's good right?!!! I do use my super moisturizer all over my face and eyes so that might be it too... (who knows?) ;)
  • Esteé Lauder Idealist (hasn't done ANYTHING for me but I refuse to throw it away so I use it anyways). Last year I used Boots #7 Protect & Perfect Intense Beauty Serum (sold in Target) which I LOVED. Unfortunately I didn't bring it this year and they don't have it in Spain so I'll stick to what I have. But this product is the BEST or at least it worked for me in both weathers (Puerto Rico and Spain). Oh and all Boots products I've tried are AMAZING!
  • Ureadin Hydrating Cream (LOVE) This cream is a miracle in a bottle. The best moisturizer I've used. I don't know how it will work back home because it is very hydrating but for this cold weather it's the best.

Secret Weapons:

  • Differin or Adapalene Gel- Whenever I feel one of those stubborn pimples are trying to make it's way thru my skin I immediately put a dot of the cream in the affected area and it is GONE in no time!
  • Retin-A 0.05% or Retirides- I only wear this product at night on some skin marks  I might have (that I only see. I know I'm a freak!). I also have a frown line that I've been trying to get rid for a long time so I started using it there too. This product is strong. Although I use it almost every day I try to give my skin a rest from it a few days a week.

* For Differin and Retin-A you might need a dermatologist prescription. I'm lucky enough I don't need it to buy it in Spain and it's way cheaper. ;)

**Some of these brands you might not find everywhere but if you google the components I'm sure there's a product out there that is very similar to it.
